my car has a bad opti, i might need a new tranny, the starter and altenator might be shot and with all those problems my traction is getting worse. it fishtails getting on the freeway already going 50, it fishtails, in traffic and a whole bunch of other places.

it does it when its not supposed to or im not expecting it, but it hardly ever does it when i expect it or try to do it.

 

im not being mean but thats funny as hell man to hear somethign that wild! I dont knwo what to say to help sorry!

my rear tires have about 85% tread left on them

 

Have you tried getting under that car and start looking for anything in the suspension that is broken or loose?

if you are trying to get on it, and have crappy tires on the car.. combined with less than ideal pavement, thats gonna happen. learn some throttle control

 

i wish i had that problem. even with all my mods, i can hardly break the tires loose... damn exhaust leaks.

i noticed you're in oakland. hit me up some time, maybe i can take a look at your car.

 

if your sidewalls say GENERAL real big on them, thats your problem.. what kinda tires are they? do you have some aftermarket 6.5 inch wide rim with 155 tires on it?

 

Check tire pressure and suspension bushings and bolts.

anyway as far as the problem. i think youve got something broken or loose. you shouldnt be sliding around like that. are you tires actually breaking loose and spinning with smoke and all. or is the back end of the car squirley. Trey
