first time taking the car to a dealership.

i took the car in to get a service light pulled because 4 different autozones couldnt do it. 95 obd 1 with obd 2 port, but anyways, the told me the EGR was throwing the light, which is what i figured, it started every day when it got really cold here, below 30. they also told me i needed to bring the car in next week to get the AIR pump replaced for a recall. i think ill get the AIR fixed since its free, but not the EGR, ill deal with the code until i change the intake manifold gasket. im also wondering what kinds of 1/4 mile times i could turn with my mods. i might also add headers before spring too. my car has 72k miles on it and is in very good condition, hard to believe i even traded my 2001 civic with 75k miles on it for this. they said my EGR valve was bad and it would cost like 160 bucks to fix, how hard is that to fix by myself? thanks for the input.

I'll bet it was a EGR flow insufecent (can;t spell tonight)

this is due to the fact that you do not have enough backpressure due to your aftermarket exhaust

Rip out the EGR and AIR and never worry about it again.
