first time ever to the track

well i finally made it to the track for the first time ever. i kept up with getting better times each time i went and on my 3rd and final time i got,
r/t .533
60' 2.0
1/4 13.78
mph 99.87

i guess thats not bad for a heavy *** vert, but i def need to get my gears in and shift kit. i was hoping for at least a 13.5. well in a bout a month i'll finally have enough for the 3.73, shiftkit, pulleys, and a tune. im tryin to break into the 12's before getting engine work done.

Thats not bad if you have 2.73's ... Id actually expect a higher MPH though ... But maybe the gears will wake it up. The 2.73's are hurtin ya now.

Great 60 for first time at the track ...

Great time for the mods and your first time out. Those gears will really help and I think the biggest help to me was the converter. I did the gears first though.

yeah, i know i need a converter too. but im gonna wait to do that until i have a full bolt-on car or maybe wait until i get my engine work done next summer. ive got alot of ls1's to try and keep up with. right now my buddies' cars blow my doors off.
