today it was the last day of the season at the track and my first time ever. it was really busy and i only got a couple runs in. it was pretty cold too so traction was a problem.

my first run i ran a 15 something with a 2.8 60ft totally smoked the tires. i was using nitto drag radials too and heated them.
next time up i lowered tire pressure and heated them up decent. still didn't stick great but better and ended up getting a 14.244 at 100.22mph with a 2.379 60 ft. didn't get a chance to try anymore runs.

totally stock A4 car with 2.73's and also quite a bit of spark retard at certain points of my runs.

im pretty happy with it being my 2nd time down the track ever and also if i can get my 60ft down to even a 2.0flat i should be high 13. hopefully get my spark problem fixed too.

today the nittos seemed pretty crappy but track was really cold and plus i didn't have enough time to play around with different pressures and maybe i needed to heat them longer.
just wondering what to do next time to get best results with nittos?

also what kind of 60ft would my car be capable of with stock 2.73's anyway?

 

also i forgot to mention but it seems on launches only the passenger wheel is spinning. this could be another reason for loss of traction i would think. im gonna try changing fluid in rear soon and if that doesn't help will probably need a new differential? i was thinking of getting 3.73's sometime anyway and since those wont work in my stock carrier that has 2.73's ill have to get a new carrier with gears anyway. would this probably fix my problem?

 

do 3.73's and get a stall converter....you'll be lovin' life
