fireworks from coil

My car is ideling real bad when it warms so I changed all of my plugs and wires and that didn't help so tonight I started her up to see if I could see any sparks and I could see faint blue arcs on the coil not the coil wire but the coil itself. So I went online and ordered an MSD Blaster coil. My question is, is my coil going south or do I have a bad ground somewhere, also when I reconnect my Neg. to the battery I get a $**t load of sparks I have been told this because of a faulty ground somwhere? Oh yeah also SES flashing(Multi-Misfires) I scaned it and got no codes even while the SES light was flashing, weird. Sorry so long, thanks for the help

Not sure about the coil but from what i have seen on my car is that when a plug wire is burnt and it isnt arching and the electricty has to go some where so it would arch at the coil.

But i am not posative about this just something that i abserved on my car.
