I tried to get some last year. I called SLP. They gave me another number to call. I got some guys name and tried to get in touch, but he never returned my calls. I finally gave up on it. I have a red T/A. I like the way the yellow firehawk decals look on the doors. I went ahead and bought yellow TransAm decals from www.reflectiveconcepts.com

Try calling SLP 732-349-2109

Just an FYI...
You probably could not get those decals from SLP unless you supplied a VIN number stating it is a Firehawk.

I thought that too, but since I never got all the way to the guy I needed to talk to I didn't find out for sure. I was going to tell them that I owned a body shop and was working on the car. If they asked for the VIN I was going to tell them that it wasn't available at the time. Maybe it would have worked...maybe not. I never could get in touch.

wow thats really expensive...you might want to consider getting your emblems from Brent Franker on this site. Much cheaper and I'm betting more willing to work with you on what you want

You will not get a set of Firehawk door emblems from SLP unless you have a VIN number. why build a clone ?

Some people aren't lucky enough or don't have the extra money to have a comp T/A or a Firehawk. There is nothing wrong with making a clone.

It's the same thing people cloning SS cars from the 60's. If you weren't in the position to have the Comp T/A, you may have a different opinion.

In my case, I can't afford a new Firehawk. The older Firehawks I have looked at had not been taken care well enough to justify selling my car. My car will smoke a stock firehawk anyway. I don't want to swap a car that I have spent thousands of dollars modifying to get the Firehawk....so....next best thing........fake it.

I have had IROC's, Trans Am's, Achieva W41's, and an S-10 SS

CLONES SUCK, AND THEY DRAG THE VALUE OF REAL CARS DOWN

So what are you saying?

And yes clones affect alot, I hate the whole " I beat a Camaro SS last night " then it turns out to be a V-6 with SS wheels and emblems. But then all Camaros get branded slow around here.

well there is nothing wrong with slapping different emblems on a trans am and its not like im trying to make a v6 look like a BLACK BIRD(anybody know what that is) i just want to distinguish mine from all those other firebirds and i dont have 30k to do it with. and if anyone looking at the car know there head from there a$$ they would be able to tell it was a clone. i dont see any one ripping on those guys who put ss badges on there 67 plain jane camaros.

Why not just put custom T/A or Formula decals on the side of your car?
I have Formula on the side of my car and one day some kid asked how I liked my "firehawk", I quickly corrected him and told him its just a Formula. I like the sleeper look.
