Finishing up my 383 ?'s
I have been posting several times over the past few weeks and am in the process of finishing up bolt on parts for my 383. I decided to go with Golen Engine Services LT-1 383. Should be built by 4/20 (how ironic since I just quit smoking), and delivered to me by the 28'th. I need a few remaining parts and suggestions on what parts to go with as I am on a budget but would like the best gains for the money cuz I plan on doing this right the first time. I have my own list of parts but I want others opinions so here goes with what I need for my 97 30'th Anniv Z w/ T-56:
Mezeire Electric Water Pump (cheapest I have found is $200)
A 52mm TB (cheapest so far is BBK 52mm for $290)
30# Fuel Injectors (Bosch $230)
Pro 5.0 Shifter ($170)
Spark Plugs and Wires (Had MSD 8.5 Super Conductors, worked great, $80, any other suggestions)
Short or Long Tube Headers (Emissions Legal, will worry about y-pipe later if necessary since that is not that hard to install)
Clutch Set (Needs to be rated for at least 450hp/500ft lbs)
Optima Battery ($110 at my local autozone)
That's all I need, so let me know suggestions or if I am going in the wrong direction with any of those. I appreciate ya taking the time to read this, just let me know your thoughts.

Re: Finishing up my 383 ?'s
Wow I get one response after I post at 5:00, but have multiple reads and no one can give me their opinion on what products they own or have read about? All I have done for the past few days is read peoples responses on this message board and others, and I used to be an avid poster on rksport when there was a message board and on here for V6 topics when I had my V6. I tried to offer as much help as possible. For those who have responded to my posts I appreciate it, I just wish that people understood that from their personal experiences and thoughts influence others. But I guess I learned from reading responses to other peoples posts. So if anyone else can help me out please do so....thanks.
