finding tdc and water pump shaft seal

I aligned the dots on the timing set and it looks Like 6 is on tdc. If i rotated the crank 180 degrees. will #1 be at tdc? I wanted to know cause i didnt mark my crank hub when i pulled it. When i get 1 at tdc all i need to do is install the hub with the arrow up is this correct. also im not sure if i have the water pump seal installed right. It doesnt seem like its far enough in or the shaft isnt far enough out. I can send someone a pic too look at it.

If anyone ever needs help with an install in my area email me and I will try to help. It sucks trying to do it alone.

thanks
Brad

Just put your hub on with it at #6 (dots lined up). It will be perfect. You would have to rotate it 360º for it to be at #1 and it won't make a hill of beans as far as the hub goes. You would still put it on with the mark at 12 o'clock.
