ive got an exhaust leak i just cant find. correct me if im wrong but isnt there something u can put in the intake (seafoam? ) that will smoke out an exhaust leak and show u where it is?

 

Yep, SeaFoam. I've found it at NAPA and Central Auto Parts stores (at least here in Florida). Follow the directions on the can for running it through the intake. After you let the car sit, watch all around the exhaust for smoke once you start it up. Make sure there isn't any wind blowing or else it'll make it hard to determine where the smoke is coming from.

Just a note on Seafoam--be careful, it can mess up your O2 Sensors. I used it and had to replace both of mine.

 

If you have headers replace the manifold gaskets. I had a leak and it ended up being one of those gaskets.

 

k thx guys ill make sure to check the gaskets. i know its on my drivers side i just hope its an actual exhaust leak and not a collapsed lifter or somethin
