Guys I have a dumb question! Why must you have an X pipe? That is not true duels then is it?

X-pipe helps out the flow and helps with freeing up the power the engine is capable of making.

its still true duals. the X-pipe helps to equalize the back pressure... much like an H-pipe.

Hey HM, does Lane's have a website with pictures of their true duals? I am interested in getting them, but i would probably have them ship them to me, if they look good. Thanks.

Can I get a sound clip too? Jay_Roll@yahoo.com

Also I was curious. I really like the look of an exhaust exiting in front of the rear tires. With a dual setup like that, is it possible to complete tips out to exit on front of the tires? Does anyone have any pic's if they've done it? I think some nice slash cut's would look good out the sides. Not to mention it'd be pretty unique.

There are guys making big power without an X or H pipe so you don,t have to have one.
I have decided against any kind of crossover pipe mainly cause: A. you don,t need it to make big power and B. it just makes it harder too work on if you need access to where the crossover is.

All i have to do if i need to work on anything is remove the collector bolts and take it off the hangers. Maybe 10 mins to get it out from under the car.
