Finally pulled the Passenger Side cylinder head...PICS

Car has 116K on it. Was trying to sell it, now actually thinking about fixing the header holt holes and putting it back together.

What do you guys think of the condition of the bottom end?

No way to gauge the condition of the bottom end by looking at the heads, deck surface and intake valley.

How about by the cylinder wall? How does that look.

I will pull the oil pan tomorrow and snap some pics of that

Still seems to be good crosshatch. Are there any impressions you can feel on the cylinder walls? Would been a whole lot better if you would've done a leak down on all cylinders before pulling the heads.

I only pulled the passenger side head. So should I do a leakdown on the drivers side??

You can, but that won't tell you if there's a problem w/ the pass. side.

It often takes ultra-close inspection to find flaws. Not much can be told from those pics. This thread does not even say what problem(s) you were having (if any).

looks axactly the same as my lt1 did a few weeks ago when i did my head gasket. Mine just clicked 117k miles and runs like a champ.

Yea I did..1 on the passenger side and 1 on the drivers side. It sucks
