Finally got some track #'s. LE3 383 VIDEO!

Finally got out to the track today. It was hot. Mid 90's, and humid as always in south Texas. I have a nasty sunburn on my neck and face

Dyno #'s in sig.

Best et:

1.74 60ft
7.65 1/8
92.1 1/8
11.93 1/4
116.37 1/4

Best trap:

1.85 60ft
7.74 1/8
92.98 1/8
11.94 1/4
118.48 1/4

Not a bad day. I went out on the 4th round- red light Ran fairly consistant, and I dont think my 60's are too bad for a manual. It has more in it too. On the dyno it dropped off sharply at 6600 rpm. I think my valve lash is a little on the tight side with the morels. If I loosen them up I could get a couple hundred more rpm and a little higher mph.

Not too bad for a 3700lb LT1?

I do have drag radials. I also have sub frame connectors. I know I need some other suspension stuff too, but that will come very slowly in the future. I know I need a good TA, an adjustable panhard bar, and LCA's. Is it good to put on a bigger rear sway bar?

yes, a bigger sway bar should help level out your car for your launch IIRC. it will help with keeping your car straight on launches, eliminate torque steer, and body roll

Do you at least have an air bag on the right rear for now? It does help a little, and is fairly cheap.

+1 on this post, with some suspension ull cut quite a bit of time off. I don't know how your running that much power without more suspention mods.

LCAs will prolyl save your rear for a bit as they eliminate wheel hop

Great numbers both dyno and track. Knock a few off that 60' and you're looking at some mid 11's no problems. When are you going to start squeezing it?

Great results for 90* weather, nice to see another car performing well... heavy car too bein a vert.

You'll get 120+ traps with no problems in good weather and some tweaking here and there.

Good job.
