Finally got some times

I just had the hotcam kit put in my car not too long ago. I had a little head work done (stage 1 & bigger valves), and some other stuff put on (see sig). Well, i was wonderin if a 12.85 @ 108.4 (cutout open) is a good starting point? I am having it dyno tuned and i wasnt sure if i am running as quick as i can or i should have it dyno tuned to find the xtra ponies. I know i need a converter, and it is coming, but is a 12.85 @ 108.4 a good time for a converterless lt1 with the hotcam kit? And, i cant run anything less than a 13.0 with that damn cutout closed, is this normal too? I appreciatte all the feed back.

Sounds real good without a converter. Put in a Vig 3200 & you may flirt with the 11's. Very nice.

ditto... should be very very low 12s with a convertor and good tuning. maybe even high 11s. apparently those heads are pretty decent.

Thanks guys, that makes me feel good about all the money I spent on my car. So possible 11's, i never dreamed that without spray. That would b bad. In a good way.

The edelbrocks? I like them, they give the car a better sound than just the stock manifolds. They're no SLP's or anything, but they get the job done. That is until I go LT. So, 3200 vig? I thought about a 3600 vig. I would probably buy what came along first. Which would be better?
