Finally got my Z paid off... first mods?

94 Z28 A4

I was thinking...

K&N cai
Flowmaster cat back
Jet Hot Long Tube Headers
Y pipe/off road pipe
New NGK Plugs / Accell Wires

And then maybe...

3.43 or 3.73 gears (daily driver)
2800 stall
Transgo Shift Kit
Nitto Drag Radials
LT4 Hot cam
Ported Heads

Small mods...

LT4 Knock Module
TB Bypass
Fan Switch
Larger Throttle Body/Airfoil
3'' DHM cutout

Wow, just imagine if I got all those mods... smokin'

your inital mods sound good, but im sure you will hear an eaful about the flowmaster catback. It does get really annoying with the drone after a while. Save up and get a gmmg

I think you should do plugs and wires first. Then do a Hooker cat-back or true duals along with Jet Hot LTs and a K&N CAI and maybe some 3.73 gears.

yeah, what is wrong with the flowmaster catback. I have one and love it

If you say drone, it's not bad you can't beat the flowmaster idle though..............

Flowmasters are a chambered exhaust, they produce back pressure. Plus, they are loud and after a while they become annoying to people inside the car and people outside the car.

I ran the Flowmaster on my 93 for two years and loved it. Then switched over to true duals. Now that's loud!

For the same price as a flowmaster cat-back you could get something better.

I like my Dynomax Ultra Flow. It's got a nice rumble at idle/cruise, and it's got a nice roar at WOT. Can't wait to hear the car with the 224/236 cam I just ordered.
