Finally got my engine built. Pictures!

Ok, after 6 months, lots of time and money I finally got the engine complete. I will have pictures by the end of today with the headers installed and the intake on. Hopefully the balancer pully on as well.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the compliments. Here are a few more pictures. Too much bling, the pictures just dont do it justice. I polished or had everything bead blasted so there is just too much glare.

haha You DO realize that you put the pass head on the drivers side and the drivers head on the pass side, don't you?

They do that so they will wear even

Just a couple of pipe plug changes.

haha Yeah, Pipe plugs from the back to the front. Reverse flow cooling to the back. Coil assembly from the back pass to the front driver. Coolant temp sensor from the middle pass side to the drivers side. That's about it.

Yes they are.
Just change the pipe plugs in reverse of what they are now all the holes are there. Don't forget the temp sender belongs in the drivers side. No big thing, just extra work and ya need the square tool to take the plugs out without rounding them and ya can't get them out and no an extension won't fit and they are TIGHT. Your crossover tube goes in the back.

Re: Finally got my engine built. Pictures!

Wow, well thanks for the info guys. I just took the old stuff off the old heads and put it on the new heads. So the stuff on the actual heads are in the right place, I just need to unbolt them and swap them around?

From looking at the pictures in the webshot gallery I see what you guys are talking about. Luckily I hadn't adjusted the roller rockers yet, or put the spark plugs in etc. Shouldnt be too bad, just unbolt, and rebolt them on.

Being away from a project for 2 months sure throws your thinking off. Thanks for the good catch guys!
