Finally got her running!

Well its been about a year of down time for me with this damn thing, but I finally got her tuned and ready to go! I thought I'd post up some numbers for other people to reference too. This is a 383 LT4, AFR 195's, decent cam, and all supporting bolt ons. Can't wait to get her to the track!!

Re: Finally got her running!

I still have no idea how it made this much power...I guess I got lucky? I'm just wondering because I see everyone on here with these monstrous flowing heads and decent cams and they are barely making it to 400 or just over. I was HOPEING to make 400 hp lol

Re: Finally got her running!

nice numbers man, is that SAE or what? Whats your altitude?
I cant wait for my 383 LE2 to be done. Im at sea-level, so im expecting my numbers to be around 400 at the wheels.

Thanks guys! The sheet below my dyno graph shows both SAE and non, except in this one the SAE is WCF(with correction factor). It was dynoed in the East Bay area, so extremely close to sea level if not right on it. The water is alomst a stones throw away from the shop it was dynoed LOL. We had a fairly warm day it was tuned, some where around 78-82 degrees maybe. The humidity shouldn't have been a factor though, didn't seem too humid that day.

I'm sorry I'm still learning the lingo lol, what does cr stand for? I put just under 500 miles on the car before we dynoed it. I will PM you my cam specs.

Re: Finally got her running!

Cr = Compression ratio. It would be nice to know how much intake and exhaust lift your cam has and also the intake and exhaust duration.

Hey, we'll have to meet up sometime at Fontana to run your LE package against my Ai Perhaps next year when the lights are installed and they're running the night time test and tune sessions?

I'd like to see how your car runs.

very cool....moderate durations, high lift - and assuming pretty aggressive ramps too.
