Finally figured it out
I figured out today why my car has run like pure *** and why my power and times are not where they should be. My valves arent seating. Yesterday when a friend and I were doing the leak down test I could hear air leaking out of the cylinder into the intake and exhaust so I thought. And yesterday I confirmed it was. I was cleaning off my heads to send them to AI in Charlotte and was blowing out the intake ports and bubbles were coming up from the intake valve. So I sprayed soapy water on the valves and pressurized the intake port and sure enough more bubbles. On every intake valve!! So I guess we'll see what AI can do for them.
Moral of the story...get someone who knows what they are doing to do your heads...the first time!

Ive got a pretty good feeling in just talking to these guys. Looks like Ill be going solid roller though.
What kind of numbers and times are you putting down SSmstr if you dont mind sharing?
