A few simple questions

First what oil pan gasket does everyone use? The felpro seems to be alittle flimsy compared to the stock one. Second, does it matter what way the oiling hole faces on the lifters? Front or back? Is it o.k. to reuse the stock pushrods and lifters (56,000 miles) if they look like brand new? And lastly does everyones coolant crossover tube have a slight kink in one of the bends or is mine f@#k up? Thanks for any replies fellas.......John.

Mine had a slight bend in it...............here's a pic on shoebox's site of what it should look like http://shbox.com/1/oil_pressure_sensor.jpg . As far as the lifters go, I used my stock lifters with the cc306 and it's been going strong for 5000 miles. (knock on wood)

Re: A few simple questions

When you put your lifters back in did you notice which way the oiling hole was? I don't think it matters but I just want to make sure. Ya my coolant line looks like that but in the one of the slight bends after it connects to the pass. side head it has a dimple in the line. I was careful when I removed the motor so I don't think I did it. Just wondering if the stock one looked like that. How much is a new line cost? Thanks...John.

Re: A few simple questions

I like the FelPro oil pan gasket better than the stock gasket; it has built-in spacers to prevent over "squeezing" the gasket and better "damming" around the front/back bearing caps.
