Felpro Head Gasket - 2 types/ deck heights?

I heard that Felpro has two different head gaskets. One has a lower deck height for better quench. Anyone know the part number for this one? I tried ordering the Impala one but it's been discontinued I was told.

Try ordering the Impala one from Rockauto.com, that's where I got mine and they still have them, about 16 bucks each.

All the auto parts stores in my area only have felpro 9966-PT for the LT1. I have never heard of this gasket on the board and no where on the package does it say what the thickness is. Maybe it's a felpro stock replacement (GM thickness??)

If your still at the stock deck hieght (.020) I would go with the Impy gasket (.029) giving you a .049 quench. .035-.045 is what most would call optimal from what Ive read.
