FASTFATBOY goes to the track, times inside

Keep in mind I weighed the car, 3785 with driver.

The converter is not locking up at 95 MPH like it is supposed to.

I am still learning how to work the car and drive it.....

Best pass

60 ft 1.58

1/4 11.25

MPH 120.3

Not too bad for the first time.

When I fix the converter wiring issue, learn the car more and get some cooler air I can see 10.90's

Man I have no idea, the track is in Hattiesburg Miss.

Temp was around 78*, humidity around 60% track is at sea level. Around a 1000 ft DA maybe?

Nice David, I was out with mine friday nite and went 11.009@121.8mph on the first time out with this setup. The DA was in the 1,800'+ range when I made the last pass with my car according to a racers weather station. Later

My 60' on the 11.00 pass was a 1.499, it spun a little and the raceweight was 3,500lbs. the last time I weighed the car but I took out about 50lbs when I removed the ABS, BMR upper and lower A-arms so it should be 3,440-3,450lbs. I wish I would have pulled the leather seats out and put my lightweight race seat in b/c that would have been my 10second pass on the first nite out. This was on 93 octane pumpgas and on the 325/50/15 drag radials. The pass before it went 1.480 and left out awesome but the track was not too great Friday b/c it was humid and muggy. Later

dude...find a way to get some weight out of that car..its just too damn heavy..lol. Good job on the first outing. All you guys are doing better than my first outing with my old 355. Fist day out best I could get was a 12.2...only later to go 10.9s with no motor changes. Keep at it. There are always little improvements that can be made to a new setup.

Yep, your DA was around ~1100 ft. Rough estimate b/c the weather station I'm looking at was down around the time you ran... go figure.
