I was searching and trying to find the fastest Hotcam car out there? Non-stroker..ported heads.

Edit: Sorry I read it wrong.... does this exclude heads???

 

either way..just wondering what who was going the fastest with the HOTCAM and what kinda setup they was running..programming etc.

8.18 @87 mph- HOTcam, homeported heads, SLP headers, no cat, Flowmaster catback, Midwest 2800 stall, K&N intake, PCMforless tune, B&M shiftkit, Meziere waterpump- stock bottom end.

I know mine will be nowhere near the fastest HOTcam car, but I threw it out there for comparison.

 

I went 110 mph on the motor and 122.9 on the bottle with my hot cam. 1/4

 

with my LT4 stuff and HOT cam I went 11.96@112.X and on 100 shot went 11.17@119.5

This bolt on car I am doing now will be that quick on motor sooner than later!

 

Went 12.2@116 on my LT4 conversion w/hotcam on a slippping SLP clutch. 3640 raceweight

 

12.9@108.4 2.1 60' This is on stock Goodyears , A4, Traction Control bogging off the line with 2.59 rear end

 

Those are some good times.

 

mins so far has run a 8.00@86 with a 1.74 60' on ported heads..Hotcam..and Vig. 3500 with 342's and PCM4Less programming it had a miss(ignition module) so i haven't been back to the track yet..my oil pick-up has fallen forward. Gotta get that fixed before my new times. I am slo have a 150 NX wet kit on her now...should be fun...

Why so many 1/8 mile times? Let's see more 1/4 mile times.

I know GREGG 97z has gone 12.15@115.3 on stock heads no spray, 1.81 60' I think he has the highest trap speed I've seen with stock heads. He also dynoed 355rwhp/350rwtq !

best time and mph in sig. it was real cold that night..33 i think... stock heads, nitto drags, auto matic. car put down 311hp and 326 tq on the dino. open cutout./ boy that was a few years ago!!!!

 

I went 8.28 at about 84 MPH with my mods in sig. I have bone stock heads and I am still running the stock tune. From what I have been told its about a 12.8x at about 107 MPH in the 1/4. I was NOT using spray on that run. Peace, Dustin.

 

I'm hoping for some 10.xx timeslips after I get my Hotcammed 355 together.

 

Ken95z28 went 11.8 @113 with stock heads
