Fastest 350ci LT1

What is the fastest stock displacement LT1, N/A but also whats the fastest on juice?

Im trying to decide whether to follow the crowd of people starving for more power that just go with a 383, or to try to make one of the fastest real LT1s.

Just wait for the spring time....

Frank95Z has a very quick car 11.4's

I know Tim (95 Formula) has a 355 running 11.0's

my best ET on the stock shortblock was 12.13 with a 1.74 60 ft. (car is an M6). best mph on that setup was 114.6. that was with ported stock heads, hyd. roller and bolt-ons.

My car's motor is completly stock never had a bolt turned on it except to put thermostat in even running the stock maniflolds stock exhaust pipe with a muffler and a cutout , throttle body, MAF, injectors, fuel pump, everything stock. Even though my car is a automatic the trans has never even had the fluid changed, also I'm running the stock 10-bolt with a gear set and a factory cover. The car is nothing special on the motor but it loves the spray, i've not even sprayed it off the line yet and it already runs 11's! This spring i'm going to do some suspension work and put on a T/A girdle and go for 11:50's spraying out of the hole. I know I'm not the fastest but it's rare to see a car with no more than mine has done go as fast as it does just thought i'd let you have a idea on how much potential a stock LT1 has! Good luck with whatever you choose. Oh, yeah best 60ft. is a weak 1:89 thats where I'm looking for my most improvement.

I think you should rephrase the question..

Do you want to know the Fastest, or the quickest?

Gotta be careful what you ask for, cause there's 11sec guys that arent making much power, and 12sec guys flying that arent hooked up...

Im just tryin to get an idea, I know you cant say who is the fastest, cuz theres the guys that have tons of HP that havent got around to putting a 12bolt and slicks on yet, or the guys with enough HP but cant drive the T56 to its potential. Im kind of trying to get an idea of the limits of the shortblock 350. I know the limits come much quicker than the 383 or 96 but if no one has explored them yet how do we know how far a 350 can go?

If you want to know what the car/chassis is capable of with work, look at stock eliminator guys... my buddy's 66 chevyII with a little 283, stock heads, heavy cast piston, .398 lift, etc. etc. runs 11's @ 3000lb with just over 300hp. Guys have been putting the 4th gen fbodies in the 10.4-10.6 range for years now with stockers

Stock heads peak in the 210-212 range.
