fans not working

ok i removed my battery, condenser, radiator and fans. i put them all back in except for the condenser and i have a 160* radiator is holding fluid, has a small steady stream coming from the bottom left of the rad near the petcock and the temp on the car going up while driving, but the fans doesnt come on at all. what could it be?

Hard to follow. You say the radiator is holding fluid, then say there is a stream (leak?)coming from it. Which is it? Fans don't come on until 226°. Is it getting that hot?

well it is leaking at the plastic post part right under the petcock and yes while im driving the car i can see it start to climb past where the needle usually would sit on the temp gauge, which is about 175*-180* or so. which sensors did you check javi805?

ramair95ta is that better????

Perhaps you should find/fix that leak. Perhaps the petcock is not secured. The only sensor that is involved with fan operation is the one in the water pump.

that actually might be it. i noticed that 1 of the wired were cut in half some how and i tried to repair it but maybe that wasnt good enough. and this is the golden looking screw in sensor in the front of the water pump right?

It's the one and only sensor in the water pump.
