This is a long story but I will try to keep it short. I have had several lt1 cars. This one is the first one I have done major mods to. When I bought the car (1996 SS Camaro) It recently had a 1995 obd1 conversion done to it. This obd1 computer was tuned for a slightly modded motor. The fans kicked on within 5 seconds of the car starting and stayed on the entire time. I drove it that way for awhile, which I know is bad but I did. I just assumed it was programmed that way. The temp never even registered above 160 except for a couple times in 90 degree heat. I recently put a cc306 cam and lt4 heads on the car. I got a program for bryan at pcmforless and the car runs ok but doesn't seem quite right. Also the fans still kick on right away and stay on. Bryan assured me that he programs them higher than that. Datamaster is not showing any codes except for the ses light bulb being out. I am new to computer tuning so I am not sure what I am looking at. I would be grateful if I could email this file to somebody and let me know what might be going on. . The only other major problem I have right now is a pretty bad exhaust leak on the driver side. But it is at the header collector, after the 02. Just depressed about the car, need help . Thanks.

The computer will turn the fans on in the presence of most DTCs. Fix your code and see if the fans stay off.
