Even when I dont start the car, but put the key in the start position (so the stereo comes on) and then bring it back to the off position I hear this fan type noise from the engine bay for about 2-3 seconds then it goes away. My 93 car does not do this but my 96 does.

 

That's the A.I.R. pump starting up and stopping. It's normal.

Ic. I guess the 93's did do that for some reason, prolly an obd2 thing. thanks guys
