hey any1 i need help with sumthing my engine lite comes on and one of my fans kicks on when i start the car my fan isnt wired or anything i just did a swap i used2 have a94 LT1 now i have a 96 LT1 now. the wire for the sensor thats in the water pump broke so i tried taping it 2gether but on top of the sensor i dont have that much wire to try and get them 2gther to get the sensor working,also my other fan isnt kicking on,at 3/4 temp gauge so my engine almost overheated.thank u

If the check engine light is on, the fans are normally going to come on. You may need to repair that sensor wiring, plus get a scanner on it to be sure what you are chasing.
You say you now have a 1996? Both fans should come on at the same time. You might need to check relays and wiring to see what is going on. You can find schematics on my Tech Page.
