Factory Roller Lifters?

what is the max lift and spring pressure can we safely run on stock roller lifters?

I don't think I'd go much over .560" or so before thinking about a solid setup, although I'm sure it's been done.

130-140 lbs, although I'm sure they could handle more I'd be looking for a Comp R because I know they can take it.

Get as much weight as you can off the valve-side of the valvetrain and you're springs will be better off.

Is that an open or closed pressure. I was just running stock lifters with my setup for testing purposes back in Oct-Nov, and my springs pressures are 150 closed and 350 open @ .600 lift, and the car ran the best is has in a long time.

No... that's open. Closed is around 5-6 lbs.








You have to go with experience. My comments are just guesstimates but based on my experience, I know the Comp R's will handle upwards of 400 lbs open so that's the route I'd take if I were getting close to that.

By all means yes... you will see good performance with more spring. It's better to have a little too much than too little in this case.
