factory alarm / keyless entry

this is prolly a dumb question but a friend of mine told me to try to find out how to totally disable his factory alarm / keyless entry on a 97 formula, any help would be appreciated

I was told you'd have to go to a radio shop and have them flash it. If you find something out, let me know, I need to know this also.
