i almost pissed myself when i saw that. lol. i have to agree with high 13's. and you said that you have seen some stock lt1's running mid 13's. i wish i could see that. with just think about the equation. 20s are harder to roll. it takes more to turn a big 20 inch then it does to turn a 16.

the wheels arent going to kill my times that bad. [/IMG]
If you already have all the answers then why are you asking? Go to the track and find out what it runs.

now thats what i want to hear.

and once the weather here gets better i am planning on going to the track, but the closest one to me closed down.

so i'll be better off throwing on my 3rd gen wheels with 245's on them, their only 16's.

mid 13's if you can shift good. JMO. sticky tires will make a difference and a broken rear axle if not setup right

putting 20's on your car is like lowering your axle ratio even more, they have more weight, less sidewall for traction. do they atleast spin?

spec stage 3 clutch with billet steel flywheel.
factory ram air with K&N filter
jet hot long tubes w/o emissions
3" y-pipe to a single bullet muffler and dump.
Throttle body bypass
march under drive pulleys
LCA relocation brackets
no spare tire or jack

These are the main mods which will affect your track runs in a positive way. You basically have headers + a few Free mods + little weight reduction + LCA Relo brackets - Lowering springs - Big wheels.

The minuses are a big minus for the track. The postives are all rather minimal.
If you had 4.10 gears + stock springs + Slicks you would probably do a lot better - at the track.

Your joking right?? There is no way he is gonna run 12's even if he dead hooks on some radials. Simply not enough hp.

Dont take it the wrong way. I am not tryin to be an ***. I have full bolt ons and a hotcam and I am still trying to get into the 12's. Most of my problem however has been my lack of traction, mostly wheel hop. I just ordered a set of LCA's to put on for the strip this weekend so hopefully I will get my 12s. If I still cant get it then it has to be my converter. I am running one of those cheap re-stalled stock units. I know they are junk but its all I could afford for now. It looks like youve got most of the stuff you need to get the power to the ground, just not enough power. If you were to get some 1.6rr's and some 4.10 gears, then I could see you gettin some 12's with good traction. Good luck with the car man. Peace. Dustin.
