You can do it, not gonna be easy but if you got the right tools or money it can be done. I am tired of everyone telling me i cant do some stuff on my car and then i turn right around and do it with little trouble. Don't listen to negative people. ls1sounds.com has some videos of true duals and some of them show the bottom of the car and how its set up.

Its the cats that are the problem, it can be done but keep in mind there is no heat shielding on the drivers side for a cat.
I run true duals with glasspacks (purple horny header mufflers) and you have to compromise a bit to live with it.
My exhaust is hung with coat hanger wire and bangs the underside of the car, my problem is the glasspack is running right beneath the seat, I should be able to cure this with 2.5 inch pipes running to the lobak mufflers I have in the garage and terminating just before the axle with turndowns.
A good exhaust person should be able to set you up but you need to find one that will not be scared of being fined for doing it.
Yes you want to put cats in but they won,t be in the stock locations and that makes it illegal, it won,t pass visual inspection.
Any way you go true duals on these cars is a compromise, they just were never designed to have them.
