exhaust, question?

1995 camaro z28 v8 5.7 350

Does a muffler need to be removed when installing a new exhaust system kit?

Re: exhaust, question?

When you refer to an exhaust system kit, I am assuming you are thinking of the "catback" that many companies sell. So yes, you will need to remove your stock muffler, your stock tips, and your stock I-pipe because your new catback kit will come with everything from the catalytic converter to the rear of your car basically.

Re: exhaust, question?

Yes, that is an aftermarket catback and you will have to remove your old I-pipe, muffler, and tailpipes.

Re: exhaust, question?

Yes it is all included and I would hope so when it costs a touch under 800 bucks.
