I think i have an exhaust leak comming from my drivers side. I can hear is when I slowly accelerate, but when i let off i can't hear it. It sounds like it is only comming from 1 cylinder. Any tips on how to find it?? I thought it was the rockers so i pulled the valve cover off and readjusted them- but they were OK anyway. Also my gas milage has dropped from around 280 down to 250 and it is killing me!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

To bad u still have the stock manifolds... makes everything harder... Best way to do it is jack the car up... get a light under there and look for black exhaust residue around the bottom of one of the ports... also go over each bolt and tighten them...

Better yet.... take off the whole stock exhaust and put in long tubes, ypipe and cat back... then u know u can seal up everything and be good to go and have 50 more horses

 

sounds like an exhaust leak to me. Mine tuned out to be 2 bolts coming loose on the drivers side.

This is what I would do.

When the engine is completly cold, tighten all the bolts and see what happens. You have nothing to loose. Just be happy its coming from the drivers side. I couldnt even reach some of the fn plugs on the passanger side. I know with mine, If i were to turn the throttle, on the TB it self, I could hear exactly where it was coming from. It sounds like a taping noise.
