I used a hacksaw and it took less than five minutes, I guess I'm just strong. Well, probably not but it was a brand new blade. All I had was a dremel tool and i would have broke at least 50 of the cut off wheels before the pipe would have come off.

Damn right, I had like 10 cut off wheels hit me in the glasses when they broke.
