has anybody ever ran a single side exit on their exhaust?
I mean: HEADERS-ORY-BULLETT(or no muffler)-90*or 45*- EXIT in front of rear passenger wheel
I am seriously considering this but want opinions on performance and sound, not that it would be much different than an open cutout
I am thinking the tip would be similar to the stack LT1 tips (maybe chrome?)

I personally think it would look strange. As far as power, it really wouldn't be that bad. The y-pipe will generate more torque than just dual side exits...

 

So pretty much a lightning exhaust. Well you'd be deleting alot of weight by getting rid of the catback. I think it would look better with an oval type exhaust tip comeing out the passenger side.
