Re: exhaust idea...

ok, well i ordered the 3in/3out. will it work on the stock pipe? im gonna take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld the muffler on and a turndown. will the muffler work on the 2.75 I pipe? also should i use a 2.75 I pipe or 3 inch? should i just weld the turndown onto the end of the muffler? and last question, do you guys think this will pass emmisions?lol. its still got a cat, and muffler.lol

Re: exhaust idea...

Yes you can weld the 3inch inlent muffler to the 2.75" pipe.

If I were you I'd probably just save some money and keep the 2.75" pipe. With an exhaust that short and strait, I doubt you would experience any gain upgrading to a 3" pipe.

Yes you should pass emmissions, but you may not pass noise regulations based upon where you live. Just dont get on the gas too hard infront of a cop.

yea im gonna keep the stock pipe i just want to make sure i can put the 3 inch muffler on there. u think a regular exhaust shop can weld on a 3 inch to 2.75 pipe? also should i just weld the turndown right to the end of the muffler? cause theres really not much more room anyways. thanks guys
