Arrow Exhaust cut out

I have been looking at getting a cut out but i have a couple ?'s. Can u get a significant gain out of it? and where did u put yours?
I was also wondering if anyone has tried to put it were the cat goes, i unfortanitly live in a emmission controled area so i was thinking of making it so i could bolt it in and out when i needed to get it tested.
Thanks Jason

You can get it installed right behind the cat; lots of resonation and pretty loud inside or you could get installed right by the muffler, lots less resonation and quieter because it's further away from the cabin.

The more mods you have the more the cut out will help you. I have a friend with a head/cam LT1 that made 17rwhp extra with the addition of a cut out!
