Hooker has a nice catback system that won't cost ya an arm and a leg. But if you want one for the long long long haul, you should really get the stainless steel stuff. It'll cost more but it's pretty much not gonna rust or wear on ya much.
I have a hooker-like setup on my car (lol i know saying that) and it's really not bad, has a nice sound and opens up for ya. You can check that one out as a possiblity for a moderate priced exhaust solution.

Try a dynomax bullet muffler. They sound great. You can actually put these mufflers right underneath the passenger seat and end the exhaust right there. This gets rid of alot of weight and the sound is awesome. If you get an aftermarket y pipe and this muffler you wont need a catback system.

The bullet cost about $35.

The y pipe may vary!
