which exhaust??????

hey guys i want to replace the stock exhaust on my z i,m thinking about slp loudmouth or borla what do u guys think let me know

I like the Loudmouth myself.
I think they sound awesome.
Borla is too spitty and ricey sounding, this was on a supercharged car though so NA may be different.

Borla is just an expensive cutout.

Loudmouth isn't bad.

I would go with a Hooker or Dynomax catback for the sound. Horsepower difference is negligble.

go with hooker....i had loudmouth and i think hooker is a lot better sounding...

Save the money for another mod. Just take a ratchet, look under the passenger side door for the catalytic convertor, and undo the 2 bolts holding it on.

Next, move the I-pipe to the left and bolt the right side of the pipe to the left side of the cat.

Instant exhaust for free that flows better than any cat back and sounds a helluva lot meaner than even a cutout.

I think you should try to find sound clips of each. They both are pretty much strait through designs and both sound unrefined in my opinion. Theyre more loud than anything. Find some cars or sound clips to listen to then make your desicion.

maybe its just on ls1's but my friend has a 02 z28 with longtubes and borla----it sounds like a whining b*tch . BORLA SUCKS!

Be different,I went with a SPINTECH muffler from mufflex and let me tell you its awesome i had flowmaster and magnaflow on my TA and the spintech wins hands down on qualitly and muscle car sound....
