heres the deal im in the process of assembling my 383.Ive searched and read threads.Im under the impression that if im running an electric h20 pump and double roller I will have to convert over to vented opti and 95+ timing cover is that correct????

Yes. There is no way to drive an unvented opti with a double roller cam gear.

 

Dont want to hijack your thread, but just by chance i have a 95 lt-1 timing cover, PM me if your interested, i can let it go for $25.00 plus $5.00 for shipping.

 

ok so the ONLY parts needed now is opti and timing cover correct?is there any other parts needed to do a vented opti onversion?thanks

 

You'll need the electrical pigtail from the wiring harness to the opti, and of course the vent, and vacuume lines and fittings.
