i was wondeirng if anyone has ever heard a power steering pump squeek? would it indicate a bad bearing? i relaly can't find out wher the squeeking comes from. it is defintely a bearing of some sort. it sounds like it is coming from inbetween the compressor and the p/s pump. i have 132k miles, a used comrpessor i just put in on saturday and recharged this morning, an original p/s pump, a rebuilt alternator, under drive pulley, a 22k old belt that has come on and off the car about 20 times

ok, i would much rather it be my power steering pump wanting to crap out then the compressor i just put on the other day. i woud imagine though that it sounds just like everyother bearing going bad though. i hate it when cars do this crap
