Ever hear of coolant in the oil because of a leaking head bolt?

Since last fall my car would start ruff and I was getting moisture in my oil. It seemed that it was just a cold start gasket leak that sealed back up as soon as it ran for a little bit. I pulled the heads a week ago and the very back/upper head bolt on the driver side was really corroded/rusted almost. Seems that coolant was leaking through the threads as if the thread sealer failed and then it worked its way in through the gasket somehow? Has anyone ever heard of this happening? I haven't, but Im guessing that was the problem, new gaskets and a set of ARP bolts and all is well now. Except for the new exhaust leak I now have

yea it happens.. the head bolts go down into the water jacket so you need to use permatex when you put them in.. I hate using the stuff but it works!

Yea thats what I used when I put the new bolts in. The instructions said use the ARP stuff only but I figured the other stuff will do just fine. So far so good...
