Is this even possible?? PICs of my rear end's carnage

WHat the hell....did a moderatly hard shift last night and then the ABS light came on, light grinding noises when i touched the gas.... was able to make it a 10 mile trip home, mostly coasting.

I thought maybe i had chipped some teeth of something but this morning when i pulled the cover this is what i found:

That's painful to look at. That's definitely one of the worst I've seen. Well, looks like its time for a 12-bolt.

Been there dude but I luckily had an extra diff at the time. See pic below of the carnage. Was able to make a 10 mile drive home also with no problems until I tried to turn then it was pop, pop, pop as it sheared the teeth off the spiders.

i just thought the gears would go first.... actully now that i think about it my torsen diff that came with my SS cracked all the way through...


So now i gotta see if i want the 10 bolt fixed or by a 12 bolt(the price is equivilant to like ten 10 bolts)
