evap canister (driver's side rear)???

Found it today almost diconnected..... then by moving it around it just came undone. Drove it home with no problems.

Does this affect drivabliity of the car and is it a mandatory item????

thanks

no the evap canister just collects evaportaing fumes coming from the gas tank and puts it back through the motor. it will not affect motor performance at all or emissions but you might need it to pass visual inspection.
