Basically the same tire but one has a few tread lines so that it is a legal street tire. All and all the same tire compound. Pros they hook like a ****. Cons they wear really fast. Your stock rear should be alright since you have an auto. Ive seen plenty of 10 bolt auto cars running slicks and et streets. Throw a really high stall converter in there and then start saving pennies because eventually it'll go.

I disagree on the life of the tire. A friend of mine had a set of ET streets last 2 years (strictly track use). They were used by him and a few of his friends. All in all had about 70 or more passes on them before he bought a new pair. [edit] If I'm not mistaken, his brother took the old set and used them a while longer too. You can boil those tires all day long and drive home and they'll look like they did when you left.

yea either tire is gonna be just as good of a choice! like he said the et streets are just street legal and they both hook like a **** so other than that it doesnt really matter! i have the et drags and i roll around on them and cops never flex. now if i drove a honduh i might worry but cops love the muscle cars

whatever you do DONT GET them nitto drag radials... those things are the biggest pieces of SH*T.. i went thru 2 pairs before i got smart and realized i was spending money on a tire that didnt hook worth the crap before i ended up with some et drags! the bad *** thing bout et drags or et streets, when its warm out i dont even have to warm them up. they just hook like a **** no matter what

I've used both. The ET Drags hook better. If your getting tires strickly for track use I'd get the ET Drags. No use in getting ET Streets unless your running a DOT street tire class. JMO.
