alright guys, have a friend that is putting a 383 stroker into his 95 z28 m6. we have done everything right that we were suppose to, but the engine wont line up with the transmission, now he has a stage 2 clutch that is on there and we put the pilot bearing on the pressure plate and it still wont go on the transmission. we have had trouble with it for 2 days now, does anyone out here know how to help us out?

I hope you meant he removed the old pilot bearing and pushed the new one into the end of the crankshaft. Did he try rotating the input shaft of the tranny before it went together? Is the tranny in neutral? Is the fork out of the way or otherwise not holding the engine back?

Only other thing I can think of is the 2 aren't aligned straight. Like maybe the tranny dropped down.
