I've swapped a '94 lt1 into a '96 v6 body. What im wondering is would it be easier to convert the engine to '96 OBDII, or convert the dash harness into '94 OBDI? The engine has been swapped with the wire harness attached. Originally I was going to run my ODBI harness threw the dash and call it good but after taking apart most of the dash im overwhelmed by the amount of wiring I will need to swap... not to mention when I took out the '94 wire harness I had to cut some of the wires to get it out. :cussing: So now im thinking maybe I should just buy a '96 PCM and convert the engine to '96 OBDII rather then mess with the rat nest of wires in the dash. So my question... what would be required to convert my 94 engine to make it compatible with the '96 OBDII dash harness/car?

 

Cliff notes: What do I have to do to convert a 94 LT1 into a '96 - OBDII engine? Other then converting the dash harness, which is already on the car.
