Engine stand bolts?

What size bolts do I need for my engine stand to hold up my block? Borrowed the stand and he did'nt have the bolts? It's an AC delco stand if that helps.

Thanks Jason

Just get one of your transmission to engine bolts, take it to the hardware store and get 4 grade 8 (dont trust anything less then grade 8) bolts long enough to clear the holder that spins and have 1" - 1 1/2" extra and some grade 8 washers in case the bolts a lil too long.

Re: Engine stand bolts?

The engine stand bolt kit I got cost 15 bucks came with 12 bolts (3 different Sets). 1 Nasty Birds Idea doesn't sound too bad. Just make sure you get the right measurements.
