Engine sagging a little...Possible motor mount issue?

Ok, so here is the story... I replaced the engine in my car without putting in new motor mounts(i regret that) and i noticed that the engine is sagging a little lower now. Acually its about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch lower and the balancer on the crank is getting really close to the sway bar.

Could this be since that when i removed the old engine mounts, the rubber in the original ones lost their strength(heat damage, fatuige...etc) when i took them appart thus allowing it to sag upon reinstalation?

I am thinking it is the motor mounts. Also, i do have the energy suspension tranny mount, but i have had that for many years without it ever being an issue.

Any ideas? thoughts? If this is the problem, i am just going to go with the polyurethane mounts as replacements

Thanks in advance
greg

You got it. I put Prothane brand mounts in when I did my headers. It's not that hard.
