Engine removal & brake line question

I've been reading for about an hour now after searching....

When dropping the engine from the bottom, some people say just disconnect the brake lines, and some people say remove the whole ABS/master cylinder assembly.

My specific question is, with TCS, can you just disconnect the brake lines? Because it doesn't look like the engine will clear the traction control valve assembly that is below the ABS unit.

Re: Engine removal & brake line question

I could have just taken it all off instead of spending so much time trying to figure this out, but I'm trying to document all the steps for a writeup.

Anyone with TCS that has done this, I'd appreciate your thoughts. None of the writeups I saw mentioned if it was w/ or w/o TCS.

I dont have tcs but i just removed the brake lines and it was kind of a pain...they liked to hang up on things when the engine was being lowered.
