Engine Removal from Bottom Question

Engine Removal from Bottom Question

Quick question to those who have removed the motor from the bottom, Will a 1-ton capacity engine hoist (shop crane) suffice? Just wanted to double check before I shop around..

I'd say easily. Your not lifting the whole car, just the front.

yes, but you are also gonna want a floor jack to have under the engine/ trans to support them

thanks all..
already have the floor jacks, just wanted to check before I went to harbour freight and picked up the 1ton foldable hoist currently on sale this week
